Feb 2025: Nidhi Bisht receives the distinction in doctoral research for her PhD thesis.
Feb 2025: An Indian patent (No 202011052972) titled 'A CIRCUIT POSSESSING FAULT LIMITING CAPABILITY IN A HB-MMC BASED HVDC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF' by Anandarup Das and Sukrashis Sarkar has been granted by The Patent Office, Government Of India.
Jan 2025: Mritunjay Narayan Pandey joins our research group as MSR scholar.
December 2024: Sukrashis Sarkar receives the prestigious Grid India Power System Award (GIPSA) 2024.

September 2024: Dr. Anandarup Das received the IETE-Bimal K Bose award for the year 2024. September 2024: Dr. Anandarup Das received the Sophia University (Japan) Lecturing research grant for the year 2025. August 2024: Our paper titled "Operation of Modular Multilevel Converter with Distributed Energy Resources during Unbalanced Power Generation" by Subhasis Nayak et. al receives the 'Best paper award' in SEFET 2024. August 2024: Parth Malhotra, MTech student in our group receives the "IEEE PEDES" award in Convocation 2024 for securing the highest CGPA. August 2024: Shivrajit Som and Neha Madhukar have joined as PhD and MsR research scholars respectively in our research group. July 2024: An Indian Patent (No 201911018442) titled ‘A system and method for tapping electric power from a high-voltage direct-current transmission line’ by Ebin Cherian Mathew and Anandarup Das has been granted. July 2024: A delegation including Anandarup Das visited Sophia university in Japan for attending the India day in . A research talk on the topic was delivered. Railway factory at Odakyu, Tokyo was visited along with Prof Miyatake and several Indian Railways engineers.
